Beading Out of Poverty
Beading out of Poverty was the project of the second phase of the pilot. The women chose beading/ jewelry making because the group had experts in the group who were able to teach others on how to make jewelry. The women were very creative that they used beads on knitted items and some women focused on knitting and crotchet. It was hard to separate the first group and the second group, however, our former graduates continued to come and work on their unfinished projects and participated in selling their products at events.
